Meet the Riverside Team Behind Woolsey Insulation Riverside
When you call Woolsey Insulation Riverside, the person who answers knows attic insulation and spray foam, not a script. Our crew is small enough that you’ll recognize a name when we show up, and experienced enough that we’ve seen just about every attic in Riverside County. We’re led by Glenn Hartley, and every technician on the team has been background-checked, uniformed, and trained to leave your home cleaner than we found it. No subcontractors. No day labor. Just the same faces from estimate to final walkthrough.
Our People
Glenn Hartley, Owner
Glenn Hartley has owned Woolsey Insulation Riverside since 2002, running it as part of the Kingswell family of independently owned and operated insulation companies. He’s the one who answers the phone at 6:30 a.m. when a homeowner in Wood Streets discovers their attic insulation was torn apart by rats overnight. Glenn will tell you what open-cell foam actually does, why a vapor barrier matters in a Riverside summer, and whether your existing insulation is worth keeping. He started doing attic work before spray foam became the default answer, which means when he recommends it, it’s because the house needs it, not because it’s what’s on the truck. If you want a straight answer about cost, timeline, or whether something is worth doing at all, Glenn’s your guy.
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus has been installing insulation in Riverside for 11 years, and he’s Woolsey’s lead tech on spray foam jobs. He’s certified in open-cell and closed-cell application, and he’s the guy who can tell you within minutes whether your attic needs air sealing before insulation or if the existing vents are adequate. Marcus lives in La Sierra and spends his weekends fixing up a 1964 Ford pickup. If he tells you the attic will take four hours, it takes four hours. He’s the one who walks the job with you at the end and points out exactly what was done and where. Homeowners in Canyon Crest and Mission Grove ask for him by name now, which Glenn says is both a blessing and a scheduling headache.
Rosa V., Senior Installer
Rosa has spent nine years working in attics across Riverside, and she’s the most detail-oriented installer on the crew. Her specialty is blown-in attic insulation, and she’s the one who makes sure the depth comes out even to the inch across every rafter bay. Before insulation, Rosa ran a residential cleaning business, which is probably why she’s obsessive about the job site looking untouched when we leave. Drop cloths, boot covers, a vacuum before the truck gets loaded. She’s also our resident expert on Owens Corning and Johns Manville products and can explain the R-value difference between fiberglass batts and loose fill without blinking. Rosa has two kids in Riverside Unified and somehow still beats everyone to the shop in the morning.
Tommy L., Service Coordinator
Tommy is the voice on the other end of (831) 263-0387 at 2:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and at 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday, because our phones are answered by a live person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no voicemail, no automated system. He’s the one who books the appointment, confirms the arrival window, and sends the written price before anyone sets foot in your house. Tommy came to Woolsey five years ago after working dispatch for a plumbing company, and he’ll tell you insulation is easier to schedule because nobody’s standing in a flooded bathroom when they call. He knows the Riverside street grid well enough that he can usually tell you when our truck will hit your neighborhood just from the cross streets. If you call with a question and he doesn’t know the answer, he’ll hand the phone to Glenn or Marcus instead of guessing. That’s the whole reason we answer live in the first place.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Guarantee is what keeps four different people on the same page. Here’s how it works, and the whole crew knows it by heart. We give you a written price before any work begins. We commit to an arrival window and we show up in it. We leave the job site cleaner than we found it. We put the guarantee in writing, every repair and every installation. And if it’s not done right within 365 days, we come back and fix it at no charge. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it applies whether Glenn did the estimate, Marcus ran the spray foam rig, or Rosa handled the blown-in. Across the Kingswell family of independently owned companies, the standard doesn’t change by location. Wool was the first insulation, and the name Woolsey keeps that idea in the name, but the guarantee is what keeps people in Riverside calling back.
We work with eight leading insulation brands, including Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Knauf, Rockwool, CertainTeed, Icynene, Demilec, and GreenFiber. That matters because the right material for a 1920s bungalow in the Wood Streets is not always the right material for a four-year-old tract home in Orangecrest. The team decides what fits your home, not what happens to be stacked in the warehouse. And every person who walks through your door is background-checked and wearing a Woolsey uniform, so you know exactly who’s in your house.
